Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, will conduct DAVV CET 2019 exam on June 23 in Computer Based mode. The exam for Group A1 & B2 will be held in the morning shift while for Group A2 & B1 will be conducted in the afternoon soon. DAVV CET 2019 application form submission date has been extended to June 15. Earlier, the last date of application was June 10. Online registration for DAVV CET has started on May 20.

The application fee for DAVV CET is Rs 1500. For admission to UG courses, candidates must have completed Class 12 with at least 45% to 55% marks. To be eligible for PG courses, candidates must be a graduate in relevant subjects with 50% to 55% marks.

What’s new in DAVV CET 2019?

  • The exam pattern of DAVV CET has been revised this year. The test will have 100 questions which candidates need to solve within 2 hours. For correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks
  • The University has started BSc programmes from 2019-20 session

Reservation of Seats 

  • All candidates belonging to the reserved category need to appear in CET 2019
  • Reservation of seats will be as per the policy of the government of Madhya Pradesh
  • The benefits of reservation will be available only to the domicile of Madhya Pradesh
  • Of the total seats, 16% and 20% seats in courses are reserved for SC/ST candidates
  • Out of the total seats, 14% seats are reserved for OBC (non-creamy layer category)
  • One seat on over and above basis is reserved for physically challenged candidates with 50% or above disability
  • A horizontal reservation of 30% of the total seats will be for female candidates
  • One seat in each programme over and above is reserved for sons/daughters of persons displaced from Jammu and Kashmir and settled in MP on or before January 1, 1999
  • One seat in each programme is reserved for the residents of Jammu & Kashmir

DAVV CET 2019 Exam Day Guidelines

  •  Candidates should carry DAVV CET 2019 admit card to the examination centre
  •  Do not forget to carry photo-identity proof along with the admit card
  •  Electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the exam hall
  •  Do not carry books, pen, pencil etc to the exam centre
  •  Read the instructions carefully before answering the questions
  •  Reach the exam centre one hour before time
  • Candidates coming late for the exam will not be allowed to appear for the test
